Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the OneChrist mobile application and web platform (the "Service") operated by Deisky Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a church administrator account. General app users must be at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Church Administrator Responsibilities

Church administrators who register their church on OneChrist are responsible for:

The accuracy of church information and member data entered into the platform
Obtaining appropriate consent from members whose data is stored in the system
Managing user access and permissions within their church account
Ensuring their use of the Service complies with applicable laws, including data protection regulations
The content of messages, notifications, and campaigns sent through the platform

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

OneChrist offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

You agree to pay the subscription fees associated with your chosen plan
Payments are processed via mobile money through PawaPay
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5. Donations and Financial Transactions

OneChrist facilitates donation collection on behalf of churches. Regarding financial transactions:

Donations are processed through PawaPay mobile money and credited to the church's wallet after deducting the platform commission
The platform commission rate is determined by the church's subscription plan
Churches may request payouts from their wallet balance, subject to processing fees and approval
OneChrist is not responsible for disputes between donors and churches
All financial transactions are recorded and available to church administrators for transparency

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
Upload, transmit, or distribute any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or church data
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use the platform for money laundering or fraudulent financial activities

7. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service (sermons, articles, images, etc.). By uploading content, you grant OneChrist a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the Service.

The OneChrist name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Deisky Technologies and may not be used without written permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the platform. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, church data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, allowing time for data export.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneChrist and Deisky Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OneChrist and Deisky Technologies from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
